Airways Corporation of New Zealand Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise established under the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1987. Airways provides services on a commercial basis under that Act and is also authorised by Section 99 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and under Part 172 of the Civil Aviation Rules to provide the airways services covered by these Standard Terms.

Aeronautical Information Management (AIM)

The Aeronautical information management (AIM) unit at Airways is responsible for the publication and distribution of the AIP New Zealand and associated charts..

Publication is carried out on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAA).

Enroute Charts. Enroute charts effective 31 May 2012 are now available for purchase. Volume 2 & 3 subscribers will have received these with their 12/6 (31 May 12) amendment. Digital Charts. NZ visual navigation chart imagery effective 17 NOV 11 are available via the iPhone/iPad application Air Navigation Pro from Xample. The NZ charts can be purchase via the Map Store that is integrated into the application. Download from the Apple App Store or see www.xample.ch for more details. VNC and VPC. These charts are now current as at 17 November 2011. All 2010 VNC and VPC charts are now obsolete and are not to be used for navigation.
